Spir_pal.exe is a DOS-program. It can run from Windows, but the system may disturb it.
Therefore it's best to run it directly from DOS.

Controls:

"F1" controls the speed. An integer bigger than one makes it go slower.

"F2" also controls the speed. An integer bigger than one makes it go faster by increasing
the angle between each step. If you put in a too big number it will begin to go backwards or
even stop. A number between 1 and 4 gives the best effect.

"(N)umber of spirals" controls the number of spiral zones. Just press N and it will change
between 1, 2 and 3 zones.

"1,2,3 Edit spiral" Chose witch spiral zone to edit by pressing the numbers 1, 2 or 3.

By pressing the following letters you'll adjust the spiral zones:

"(S)tart" In percent of the radius were the spiral start. For the outer spirals, use the
same value as the inner spiral stop value.

"sto(P)" In percent of the radius were the spiral stop.

"(A)rms" Number of spiral arms.

"(T)wist" How many degrees the arms shall turn. A negative value makes the arms twist
counter clockwise.

"D(I)rection" Pressing I changes the direction in which the spiral turns.

"(R)un" Will start the hypnotron. You return to the menu with "Esc".

"(Q)uit" It.... You'll figure it out.

Look at the centre of the spirals for at least 20 (preferably 30-60) seconds. Don't move
your sight! Now, look at a picture, photo, painting, your keyboard or at the texture on the
back of your hand. You're going to experience that it is moving and sometime thin beams
radiates from the centre. People's experience differs from each other and it also depends on
how fast the Hypnotron moves. About two whole turns per second is enough. If your computer
is to slow, you might not experience any of these effects. There are also people with some
defect in there vision that can't see these effects at all. Hopefully you're not one of
them. It's hard to explain the effect, it has to be experienced.
